Welcome to the Mellow Cactus, a nonprofit powered by Shunpike. We provide arts-based healing resources to staff + volunteers working in high stress direct service roles.

We’re taking a systems change approach by:

1. Inviting the communities most impacted and least resourced in to inform and lead the work.

2. Co-creating culturally relevant models of care.

3. Fostering deeper relationships with orgs to provide ongoing care for staff/volunteers doing intense community work.

4. Supporting and advocating for: organizations and agencies investing in significant, ongoing, culturally-relevant care for their team and on a systems level.
